Thursdays evening match was a real 'winter' affair, November really started with a cold and wet spell, it never stopped raining all night. The water was heavily coloured from the recent rain and it was a night for trying to catch a big fish instead of lots of small ones.

Top rod on the night was Alan Healey with 10lb 10oz, which included a 9lb 6oz carp, a real achievement in the conditions, from such a high wall. Pole and maggot was the successful method

Second was Aaron Britnell with 5lb 10oz which included a 4.5lb bream and some roach, Andy Curry was third with 3lb 8oz, which included 2 x 1.5lb roach along with a few bits. Dave Clutterbuck was fourth with 3lb of roach and dace. Rob Garland caught 2lb 4oz of roach and eels for fifth and Pete Ellis was sixth with 1lb 11oz.

Andy Curry lost a double figure carp at the net, which would have won him the match, and Aaron Britnell has opened up a 3 point clear lead in the series, with one match to go.
