The warmer weather has really started to improve the fishing, this Thursdays evening match was the best for a long time. It was fished at Redcliffe Wharfe, there was a tinge of colour from the recent rain and a stiff breeze made the fishing a bit uncomfortable.

Top rod on the night was Pete Sivell, again, with 10lb 5oz which was 5 skimmers and a few roach caught on a ground bait feeder with red maggot on the hook, he drew end peg no 1. Second on the night with a lovely net of roach was Dave Clutterbuck, they weighed 9lb 1oz and were all caught on the pole with maggot on the hook, Dave was on peg 5.

Third on the night was Pete Ellis who had 3 skimmers and some roach for 7lb 8ozs, from peg 7, all caught on the pole with maggots. Jason Bird was fourth with 7lb 6oz of skimmers and roach from peg 2 and John Macey was fifth with 5lb 9oz of skimmers and roach on the pole from peg 8. Merv Sivell was sixth with 4lb 12oz of roach, perch and 1 ruffe all caught on the pole with maggots.
