Thursday evening match was the last in the current series, fished at Baltic Wharf. The water was typically clear for this time of year and with no wind it was a very pleasant evening to be fishing the docks.

Top rod on the night was Andy Curry with 19lb 5oz of bream and skimmers, caught on the pole with groundbait and maggots. Dean Malin was second with 12lb 15oz of bream and skimmers on a groundbait feeder and red maggot. Third was Dave Clutterbuck 11lb 1oz of roach and dace on the pole caught with caster and hemp, a lovely evening's fishing. Fourth was Adam Goodwell with 10lb 4oz of bream and skimmers on the groundbait feeder. Merv Sivell was 5th with 9lb 14oz of bream and roach on the pole. Sixth place went to Rupert Garner, who recently fished the Div 1 national on the Bristol Avon for Browning Hotrods, but now he's a 'propur' Bristolian, with 7lb 11oz of roach and skimmers on the pole.

The Series winner was Dean Malin who scored only 17 points, its 1 point for a win, it was a well deserved win as he was extremely consistent. Second in the league was Pete Ellis with 23 points, he put in a strong challenge towards the end. There was a tie for third place between Dave Clutterbuck and Alan Healey, both with 26 points, on count back Dave Clutterbuck won it on weight. Overall it was a very good series and nearly every match was a decent fishing match, next weeks match will move to another area of the docks, depending on the boat situation.
