Thursday's evening series was fished at the Mud Dock and Police Launch area of the docks, there was a good tinge of colour in the water but a cold breeze, this seemed to put off the small fish but the larger bream fed.

Top rod on the day was staff member and match organiser Dave Clutterbuck, he weighed 10lb 14oz which included a 5lb 13oz bream, the biggest from the docks for a long time. The rest of his catch was made up of roach and dace, all caught on a 11m pole with maggot over ground bait.

Merv Sivell was a close second with 10lb 4oz, made up bream, skimmers and roach. Dave Shore had a mixed bag, for third, of skimmers, roach, dace and ruffe, that weighed 7lb 3oz. Dave Carroll was fourth with 3lb 1oz, one bream and 2 roach.

Fifth was Pete Sivell with 2lb 4oz and John Macey was sixth with 1lb 10oz, all caught on an 11m pole with maggot.
