The docks were high and very coloured for this weeks event, the recent heavy rain that flows into the docks from the River Frome and the River Avon had caused all the docks to colour up, even Bathurst Basin that misses most of the dirty water was coloured.

So it was now surprise that the bream and eels fed, top rod on the night was Rod Garland with 8lb 2oz which included a 4lb 4oz bream, this was his second win on the trot, pole and maggot was the successful method. Second on the night was Pete Sivell with 6lb 3oz made up of roach and big eels, Dave Clutterbuck was third with 4lb 15oz of roach all on the pole with maggot, when the docks colours up caster is a waste of time, maggot is a far better bait.

Pete Ellis was fourth with 4lb 4oz of roach and dace, Aaron Britwell was fifth with 3lb 10oz and Andy Curry was sixth with 3lb 2oz.
