The water for this weeks match was very dirty, with lots of floating debris, caused by letting boats in for the harbour festival, the usual pegs at Baltic Wharf was filled with long boats so the match was fished at the Mud Dock. The water in this part of the dock is very deep with no shelf in close to catch roach on, the method everyone fishes here is maggot over groundbait.
This weeks winner was the 'ever young' Merv Sivell with 10lb 6oz which included 2 good bream plus some roach and eels from peg 1. Dave Shore was second with 8lb 9oz all roach between 2 and 8oz from peg 2. Third was local docks expert Dave Clutterbuck with 6lb 11oz all roach from peg 8. Pete Ellis was 4th with 6lb 2oz of skimmers and roach from peg 9. 5th was up and coming 'star' Lewis Walker, who works part time at the shop, with 6lb of skimmers and roach from peg 10, 6th was Pete Sivell with 5lb 10oz all roach from peg 6.
