Spomb

Spomb was established in 2008, and is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the revolutionary 'Spomb' bait dispenser. The company's aim is to produce new products that are a help to anglers and have minimal impact on the enviroment.

The business has been founded by Brian and Judith Houghton who are really keen anglers, they have fished since the early 1970's, in that time they have seen all different types of spods come and go in the market place, so they set about making a spod better than anyone has done before. By listening to what anglers wanted and the problems they were having with existing spods on the market, they developed what is now the 'Spomb'. This design has been patented all over the world and sales of the 'Spomb' have been unbelievable. Many companies have tried to improve the design, some have even tried to copy the design, but the original 'Spomb' is still the best.

Brian and Judith first launched the Spomb to the public in 2010 at The Big Fishing Show, sales at the show were slow at first, but when the anglers who bought the spombs got out on the bank and tried them the feedback from these anglers was amazing. Sales quickly grew and anglers from all over the country singing the praises of this very clever invention. Brian and Judith have never looked back since.

Over time the range has steadily grown, and they are now available in 3 sizes, mini, midi and large. There are now 2 colours available, white or black, so there is now a spomb to suit every situation.

The Spomb has revolutionised 'Spodding' and most anglers will never go back to their old spods.
