Daiwa Windcast Surf 4500 QDA

This dedicated surf version of the Windcast is built around a 35mm stroke, ensuring optimum casting.

The ABS spool shape also controls line release to single rotations, ensuring reduced backlash; an asset when trying to hit big casts into a headwind.

The QD drag allows for rapid spool lock down and the added security of manual bail closure ensures no ‘snapping shut’`.

The graphite body and aluminium benefit weight saving as well as corrosion resistance. Internally Digigear II enhances ‘meshing’ accuracy and feel, assisted further by the solidity of Air Rotor and Air Bail.

Perfect for serious shore angler, the Windcast Surf also offers the added value of a spare spool.
