SK3 carp rods have powerful casting actions that are easy to compress and will therefore adapt to a wide variety of casting styles.
Manufactured from the finest Japanese Toray carbon fibres, the advanced tapers produce rapid 'dampening' properties to ensure long, accurate casts time after time.
Having achieved over 200 yards in testing with a standard off the ground cast, they are superb, all round big pit rods that are also equally at home when playing fish in the margins, thanks to the forgiving tip.
BLANKS - Utilising advanced tapers and top grade ‘Toray’ carbon fibre materials, they have great casting power in the butt section matched to a forgiving tip for playing fish. Slim in diameter with a smooth, matt grey carbon finish they are light, responsive and a joy to use.
REEL SEAT - Custom SONIK graphite ‘soft touch’ reel seat which provides a secure hold for big pit reels finished off with gun smoke aluminium collars at each end.
HANDLES - Slim, contoured full Duplon handle for extra comfort and grip when playing fish.
RING - Slim and lightweight SIC rings for minimum line friction and maximum durability. Ringed for extreme distance with a 40mm butt-ring, four intermediate rings and a large bore 12mm tip-ring that minimises weed clogging at the tip.
FINISH - Neat, black whippings with best quality ‘low build’ hard varnish finish. Smooth and neat carbon line clip is positioned above the reel seat. Gun smoke aluminium butt cap is laser etched with SONIK logo.
