Drennan Acolyte Carp Pole, for the first time ever you can build a pole package to suit yourself and the waters you fish. This pole can be bought at 13m, with just a cupping kit and and short extensions, for only £521. As you need them you can then buy top kits to suit yourself and extensions so that you can use the pole at whatever length you want.

This pole is a totally different pole compared to the original Acolyte, it is wrapped on the same mandril but has been designed with strength in mind. It is still made with high modulus carbon but combined with a secret blend of resins, makes this a very light and managable pole. It is a true length, if you want a true 16m, then this pole is, theres no cutting back to fit a ptfe bush, thats already done, try measuring some of the other top brand poles on the market at the moment, you will be amazed to see how much shorter some of them are, some as much as 2ft.

It is well capable of 'bagging' large numbers of hard fighting carp, with ease and yet still manageable to fish with all day. If you like fishing shallow, this pole has the lightness and strength so that you can 'slap' with it all day.

You can buy the pole in 3 different lengths, 13m,14.5m or 16m and they all come with an amazing pole package, it has to be the largest 'package' on the market today.

Each package has 6 x top 2s, a really stiff cupping kit plus 2 reversible mini extensions which fit every section from the no 5 right back to the 16m section, a great feature.

All the power kits have bushes already fitted, so you can fish with them straight away, you don't need to cut them back to fit a carp elastic, not many people like to take a hacksaw to their new purchase that has just cost them a lot of money.

All the power kits are fitted with Drennan's side pull system, a ptfe side pull slot and roller cone device, this makes playing big fish easy and you can net big fish without yards of elastic hanging out the end of your top kit.

Drennan have also brought out a new double top 2, which is great for fishing shallow. The double top 2 has a joint half way down the no 2 section, this makes it easy for fishing and netting fish when you are fishing very shallow venues. The package contains two of these shallow top kits and 4 of the normal top kit, so you are prepared for any venue you like.

All the top 2s come with factory fitted PTFE side pull slots mounted in reinforced carbon.

For ultra smooth side pull, Roller Cones are provided together with a location and extractor rod

Roller cones fit inside the No2 section and position against the PTFE slot.
