Shimano Sienna FE Reel
The Sienna FE is a versatile reel designed to target small trout and freshwater predators (pike, zander and perch), however the smaller 2500 size would be more than at home on a light match rod and the bigger 4000 would make an excellent feeder fishing or floater fishing reel for those not looking to break the bank but still get that Shimano quality along the functions listed below.
ARC REEL
A reel patented design with V-shaped lip, which guarantees longer and more accurate casting thanks to the smaller helices. The AR-C reel minimises the risk of tangling. From now, the AR-C reels feature on most Shimano reels.
"MCOMPACT" FRAME
The "M-Compact" frame is made from XGT-7 composite, am improved version of the XT-7 material, the reliability of which is known worldwide. This frame is lighter and stronger, better protecting the internal mechanism.
VARISPEED II
The "VariSpeed II" system is an improvement on the "Varispeed" which has two rotation speeds to provide perfect reel line coiling. Thanks to this feature, casting is easier and longer.
ALUMINIUM DIECAST
Aluminium Diecast is used on numerous types of reels, principally on Spinning reel frames and rotors, but also on P4 reel spools and some Baitcasting models.
XGT7
The Dyna-Balance reduces vibrations and provides perfect reel stability.
POWER ROLLER TENSIONER
The Shimano Power Roller significantly reduces kinking of the line during retrieval. This is an advantage when using a fine line and braiding.
SUPER STOPPER II
When the reel is in the anti-return position, there is no longer any play thanks to the Super Stopper II system. This absence of play enables micrometric adjustment for optimal hooking when feeder fishing or using other specific types of fishing.
