These new Elite match rods from Maver has to be the slimmest and lightest rods on the market and have been designed for the modern angler on commercial fisheries.

The 2 piece design is so these rods can be carried to the venue already assembled in a holdall, this saves so much time and it is a lot easier setting them up at home in the dry and warm.

The construction of the rods make for a superb bend when playing large fish, so you eliminate hook pulls at the net, a common problem when rushing to get a fish into the landing net.

They come in a choice of 3 different lengths, 10ft, 11ft or 12ft. The shorter models are ideal for small waters and have the advantage that big fish come up to the top closer in than with longer rods, making the netting of big fish a lot easier.

The finish of these rods is superb and have quality SIC rings throughout and are supplied in a quality cloth rod bag.

These rods are designed to be used with lines between 3lb-8lbs and a casting weight of between 20-30g

They are so light and comfortable to fish with the 10ft weighs only 123g, 11ft 135g and the 12ft only 151g.

the rod handle has an EVA twist grip for reel security and a comfortable feel

The rod has a top quality cork handle and a quality graphite reel fitting with a folding hook keeper ring above it.
