The use of a bait boat allows you to reach spots that are impossible to fish by casting, opening up a whole world of new opportunities, such as dropping baits onto tiny clear areas at range or the ability to be able to place a bait and feed under a far bank tree at over 100yds. Being able to fish new areas isn't the only advantage of using a bait boat, they enable you to drop your bait and rig together onto a spot in one go meaning you are fishing super accurately and also have the benefit of being ultra stealthy as no casting is involved.

Certain models of bait boats are now available with fishfinders fitted as well as gps systems to plot where you catch your fish, allowing you to find tiny clear spots created by feeding carp with precise accuracy and drop your baits straight onto them.
