Margin Poles

As the name suggests, Margin poles are designed to allow you to effectively target the margins of your peg. Especially on commercial venues, the margins are often home to the bigger fish in the lake, so a good margin pole will be short in length and super strong, making them capable of dealing with large fish. Because of this they are often quite stiff and robust, so are ideal for juniors, beginners or anglers looking to target large Carp on commercial venues.

Carp Poles

Similar to Margin Poles, Carp Poles are very strong and incredibly robust as they are designed to catch large numbers of big Carp, mainly from commercial venues, which puts a huge amount of stress on your kit. In order to gain this additional strength, the pole sections are usually thicker and therefore weigh more. Carp Poles can vary in length, with the longer ones usually costing more due to the high quality carbons used to make them as light as possible, which is hugely important when fishing at greater lengths. However an increase in length makes the Pole much more versatile, with longer versions enabling you to fish a greater range of spots.

Match Poles

Match Poles are generally the lightest and most well balanced poles available, and are designed mainly to target smaller or more wary fish. They are mostly made from the highest quality Carbon Fibres with the latest technology to ensure that they are super responsive in order to cope with the delicate nature of Match Angling and can be fished comfortably at greater lengths. They are perfect for targeting Silverfish and small to medium sized Carp on a range of venues such as Rivers, Lakes, Canals. Because of the materials used to make them, Match Poles are often quite expensive, but you are paying for quality - it's unbelievable how light these poles can be, with some feeling almost weightless in your hands even at full length.
