This weeks match was fished at Redcliffe Wharf, the pegs are to the left of the 'Ostrich', fishing into the main dock and the fishing was the best it has been for a very long time. The weather was very windy and the water was coloured, perfect conditions for the skimmers and bream to feed.

Top weight was Merv Sivell who caught 27lb 7oz which was 10 bream all caught on the pole with maggot hook bait, he fed groundbait and maggot, he was on one end peg and the other end peg was Jason Bird who was second with 13lb 14oz of roach and skimmers.

This year there has been an explosion of skimmers ranging from 3oz to 1lb 8ozs, with the majority around the 8-10oz mark, it makes for great sport at the moment and looks good for the future.

Third on the night was Pete Sivell with 13lb 6oz of roach and skimmers, Dave Clutterbuck was fourth with 13lb 1oz of roach and skimmers all caught on the pole.

Pete Ellis was fifth with 11lb 4oz and John Macey had 5lb 14oz for sixth.
