Tom Bankes Book Two Fine Line To Lunacy

‘Fine Line to Lunacy’ is Tom’s second self-published book, whose stories continue on from his first title, ‘Sticklebacks to Throwing Sticks’. The chapters include various angling escapades at several of this country’s top venues between 1998 and 2010, and feature some of the most admirable examples of the species that the true addict could fish for at the time.

Subjects include: the capture of ‘Mary’ from Wraysbury Number One, high summer on the Yateley Car Park Lake, a decade of fishing ‘The Brook’ in Kent, the story of Coate Water’s first forty, winter carp fishing in chalkstream water, angling for the unknown, and a February ‘resident’, as well as other chapters relating to fishery incidents, such as the mystery virus in the Colne Valley in ’98 and the reintroduction of the otter.

Following on from the positive reviews of Tom’s first book, the writing style to this second title remains fresh and unique, and this originality is hoped to continue to set it apart from the mainstream of what else is on offer for those interested in reading about fishing for carp.
