In the shop this week we have receive some good reports from the Bristol Avon, with quite a few barbel showing on the upper river around Chippenham and Lacock, best fish reported this week was a 9lb 8oz barbel and a 5lb 8oz chub, pellets and boilies are doing the business for these fish. The recent rain of the past few days will freshen up all the rivers and most species will be having a munch up, so nows a good time to get out there. Congratulations to Ed Matysiak for a great catch of chub and barbel, 124lb, from the River Wye at Hereford, best barbel 10lb. Closer to home shop regulars have just started to catch some nice roach from the River Frome at Eastville.

Tockenham reservoir is still fishing well, with big bags of bream showing and plenty of carp, to catch the carp fish at long range during the day and in the margins during the evening.
