There is one more match to go in the Bristol Docks Thursday evening series being fished on the Mud Dock and Police Launch stretches and things are tight at the top. This weeks match had perfect conditions except for the water being a bit on the coloured side and as happens quite a lot at this time of the year the fishing was never as good as everyone hoped.

Top rod on the night was Dynamite Baits backed Pete Sivell with 9lb 8oz which consisted of 2 bream, a 1.5lb perch and some roach, all caught on a groundbait feeder with maggot on the hook. Dave Clutterbuck came second with 6lb 9oz which included a 1.5lb roach amongst his skimmers and dace, caught on the pole with pinkies.

The weights dropped off a lot then and Pete Ellis took third spot with only 2lb 15oz of roach, dace and ruffe, all caught on the pole with pinkies. Dave Shore was fourth with 2lb 14oz and John Macey was fifth with 1lb 15oz, 6th place went to Jason Bird with 1lb 14oz

Alan Healey dropped his keepnet in just before the end and he had an estimated 4lb in it, because of the high walls and deep water the net is still in there, if someone has a rope with a grapnel on the end, and gives me a fiver, I will tell them where it is!!!!

The league places with one match to go are

1st John Macey 12pts
2nd Pete Sivell 14pts
3rd Dave Clutterbuck
4th Dave Shore

These results dont take into account that one match result can be dropped.
